NCAA
honors one of CNU's
finest
Senior track standout, Aimee
Gibbs, received one of 58 post-graduate
scholarships awarded by the NCAA to student athletes. Gibbs is
the second athlete from CNU to receive this NCAA scholarship.
Softball
ranked by Coaches poll
CNU's softball
team received its first national ranking of the 2004 season, sixth
place, in the newest National Fastpitch Coaches Association top 25 poll.

CNU Welcomes New
Staff
Thomas
R. Shrout, former associate vice president
for public affairs and director of university communications
at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland,
OH, has been named the new Executive Director of
Public Affairs and Government Relations.
Joining the CNU Music
team as Director of Athletic Bands is Brantley
T. Douglas, III. Douglas joins CNU from
James Madison University where he served as former
assistant director of bands. Douglas will
head up the new Marching
Band.
