A word from Christie Chipps

What an exceptional time to be joining Christopher Newport University! I come to CNU with open arms, looking to embrace new challenges and a drive to grow the Alumni Relations department in its strength and funding abilities. I am excited to join with you in the coming years to engage the alumni in celebration, fundraising and memory making. With several years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising and nonprofit management I hope that I can bring new ideas, strategies and tools to achieving your goals.

I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University where I received my B.A. in Communications/Marketing and received my M.A. from Case Western Reserve University in Nonprofit Management. My previous positions include Event Planner/Development Assistant at Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center and Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Hiram College.
